About Thunder Records

Thunder Records is the promotional arm of Washington’s Entertainment Connection. WEC is the only agency owned and operated by A-list musicians, whose principal goal is to find great bands, and to match them with great clients looking for live music to create awesome parties and celebrations of all types. Thunder Records promotes those bands represented by WEC that want to do more than just play parties. TR supports and promotes those bands that want to travel, go on tour and perform for festivals, concerts and live shows around the country.

So, here’s how it works: If you are looking to find the perfect band for your event, whether that be a corporate event, party, anniversary, Bar Mitzvah, wedding, whatever, the agency of Washington’s Entertainment Connection is your place to go for guidance, advice, band selection and information on how to select the perfect band for your party. Thunder Records is the base where travelling bands (or bands that want to travel and tour) can be listed, find representation, get advice, find the work and do it right. Thunder Records locates tour and performance options, and arranges for the sale of the collateral merchandise, including the shirts, hats, CD’s, posters and other promotional items to sell while out.

Brian Choper

Brain Choper is an internationally renowned drummer/percussionist with over 35 years of performance experience. He is noted as one of the distinguished American drummers for his performance and band management abilities. Brian has such a passion for playing the drums, he can’t play enough.

Thunder & Lightning

WEC introduces Thunder & Lightning, the house band of Washington’s Entertainment Connection. This is a one-of-a-kind Rock & Roll, party and Pop band.

WEC is a family of managers, musicians, sound engineers, photographers, videographers and DJ’s, all working together to find great bands and match them with the needs of our clients. It is a family of artists in collaboration. Thunder & Lightning is a product of this collaboration. The band is a project. It is a show!

Thunder & Lightning features a very wide repertoire that extends beyond the Rock & Roll you hear most bands play. Their song list includes Pop, Classic Rock, Funk, a touch of Rap and even some Blues. T & L performs at public events, clubs, parties, weddings and corporate functions.

JRay

With a voice and personality that can enhance any audience experience, JRay can perform as a lead singer, an MC and an Announcer/Voice-Over Artist. JRay’s energy and joie-de-vie are infectious. Audiences love him! Hear this talented gentleman for yourself.

Javi

Singing, dancing and DJ’ing? Can one new talent do it all? Yes! Javi has the depth and range to perform for all stages of your event. As a DJ or as a member of Thunder and Lightening, Javi will make your event special.

St8 of Grace

Platinum rap producer “Lemoyne (LA) Alexander” and former bass player “Ben Sticklen” of metal band “Black Thumb” lead this amazing alternative rock band. Their sound is crafted to perform live and at corporate events. St8 of Grace will not disappoint. Passion, message and no holds barred writing define this group. The New Klezmer Quintet

This is the band with the reputation in the US and around the world as one of the best Klezmer/Israeli bands there is! They are specifically known for their jamming medleys, Hora sets, and ability to morph in to a full Swing band upon request. Kol Haruach has performed at many events including the John F. Kennedy Center.
